Excellent antenna Posted by: Robm from: on I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this OTA antenna for our brand new home. I experienced attempted with the flat increased antenna's and performed sort of work, but lead to choppy movie and drop outs. We mounted this antenna on the side of our home, 30 foot up, facing because of north. From my address there's two primary broadcast areas, one about 30 degrees western of north, and another area 25 levels east of north. Although i possibly could have selected both and gotten an ideal sign we plumped for the middle and so I could receive even more networks. My reception is crystal clear and perfect from all except one channel, however for us this can be minor and not worth complaining about. We are very happy with exactly how this antenna works and would recommend it to pals.

I'm today getting good luck neighborhood OTA digital channels. The picture-quality is amazing (OTA digital quality surpasses cable since it’s perhaps not squeezed). Along with my Roku, I'll never get back to paying a cable business $90 monthly only for 150 channels, nearly all of that we cannot watch. Be a cord-cutter!

Clearstream's newer models treat a significant shortcoming of small OTA antennas - little/no VHF-high(chan 6-13) capability. Men and women need to know that VHF is still part of the electronic broadcast range. UHF performance, obviously can be as great because it had been on previous versions of the design. We now enter an ABC affiliate marketer to praise the ABC leading station where I live. We still recommend installing it as high as possible to optimize stations recieved with-it in your area.

The HD that is received throughout the Clearstream seems to be an increased clarity on the cable or satellite, guess those dudes have a higher compression proportion in the sign, unsure. I am inside Atlanta area and I also've got the antenna mounted in the loft and I also'm about 30 miles from the supply whilst still being brings in around 18 channels. The antenna assembles in minutes, very easy to do. Solid building and easy to follow instructions, not that you will need all of them. It even comes with tar pieces in the event you need install the system over your shingle roofing. If you're contemplating ditching your cable or satellite business, this may do a fantastic job, have not also missed it!
